Cultural Producer: working at the intersection of arts and civic engagement
I am passionate about collaborating with mission-based organizations to bridge the gap between arts and civic engagement. I create professional performance experiences that help further the missions of non-theatre organizations through the arts! Currently, I’m partnering with the Labor Heritage Foundation and the AFL-CIO to produce a site-specific, multi-disciplinary, outdoor-promenade performance of the musical based on Stud Terkel’s Working, with a focus on essential workers during the pandemics of Covid-19, racial injustice, and political unrest. My producing work looks to stretch the theatrical form and create partnership between activism and art.
Director Shanara Gabrielle does a marvelous job and pretty much guarantees a unique theatre-going experience.
