Shanara is proud to be a professional track faculty member at University of Maryland and Catholic University helping to shape the future of performance practice in America by fostering young artists. Courses taught include Movement, Acting for the Camera, Acting the Song, Musical Theatre Auditioning, Devising, Business of Theatre, Marketing for Artists, and more. Currently, she teaches in the Drama and Musical Theatre programs at CUA and in the Theatre department and Graduate Opera program, Maryland Opera Studio, at UMD.
